A Records Management Training Programme was conducted in January 2006 in Macao. The programme was developed on behalf of the Macao SAR Government, China. There were approximately seventy participants attending the programme, all coming from the civil service of the Macao SAR Government.

EASTICA invited three lecturers / resource persons from overseas including Mr. Andrew Lipchak and Mr. Francois Guindon from Canada and Dr. Trudy Peterson from the United States. Ms. Sarah Choy, Mr. WAN Wai-kwok and Mr. Simon Chu from the Public Records Office of Hong Kong also assisted in the teaching.
